Default Dervish/Ranger or Dervish/Paragon?

Anyone have any recommendations on builds for either of these two classes?

Ranger can't do much for dervishes. Your best choice in probably the WS line, with Apply Poison and eventually Natural Stride. Most of the defensive stances fall under the expertise attribute so you can't use them, Marksmanship is for bow users, and Beast Mastery has nothing for you but TF (but dervishes have better IAS) or Charm/comfort (which is a nice way have his skills diabled whenever your pet dies and won't do much damage unless you invest a lot of attribute points in the attribute - but I don't think there is any reason to have a D/R beast master over a R/anything beast master then).

go D/R, pick up vow of strength invest some points in beast mastery and use heket's rampage. thats some major damage. and a pet isnt a bad idea either.

Cool, thanks folks. I may play around with some D/R builds to see how it goes. I was running him as a D/N that allowed me some ranged attacks but re-balanced last night as a straight Dervish. Of course now I have to rely on my heroes to pull.

i tried D/n and D/n just couldnt create anything suitable for farming so now after several hours of playing around working on a D/Me rather then the norm for a D farmer which seems to be D/W D/Monk >< its good 2 try new things :S
